Green Team Brown Bag

The Workday green team held another successful brown bag on Thursday last week.

Mike Frandsen walked the audience through an introduction of the green team and its charter. Ralf Schroeder followed with a section explaining why Workday is truly a sustainable company. This is due to our SaaS delivery model, but also due to the commitment of each one of us to make a difference. To highlight that point, Erik rolled out the Carbon Rally to all of Workday’s employees. The winner who takes the most carbon challenges will receive a nice price at the next GT brown bag. Participate by signing up for the Workday team here: http://www.carbonrally.com/teams/1080.

Finally, the meeting ended on a high point: The City of Pleasanton attended with 3 guest speakers that gave insights into how Pleasanton plans to become the greenest community in the state of California by 2020 – a truly great goal to have! In case you are interested but were not able to attend, here are the slides from the brown bag: https://confluence.workday.com/x/tICKAw

See you at the next brown bag!
